Hellänelli Drops Summer Club Weapon “Mehujää” via Youth Control

Helsinki’s fast-rising producer Hellänelli is back on Youth Control with a new club weapon, “Mehujää”, arriving on 3 July 2026 as the label’s 60th release (YOU060). Leaning fully into peak-time tech house, the Finnish artist delivers a hypnotic, groove-driven record built for packed dancefloors and late-night festival moments.

At the heart of “Mehujää” is the instantly memorable Finnish vocal refrain, “on niin kuuma, että mun mehujää sulaa” (“it’s so hot that my popsicle is melting”). Rather than relying on elaborate melodies, the track thrives on repetition and tension, pairing the playful vocal with a rolling bassline, stripped-back percussion, and relentless rhythmic momentum. Following a breakout run over the past year, Hellänelli continues to establish herself as one of Finland’s most exciting emerging electronic artists. She made her Youth Control debut with the Leikki / Herään EP in late 2025 before returning with the deeper, progressive-leaning single Valmis earlier this year.
